L’avocat dit « Je suis ici car ma maison a pris feu et tout ce qui m’appartenait a été détruit par le feu. La compagnie d’assurances a payé pour tout. »
« Quelle coincidence, rétorque l’ingénieur, moi je suis ici car ma maison et tout son contenu ont été détruits par une inondation et ma compagnie d’assurances a aussi payé pour tout. »
L’avocat le regarde l’air perplexe.
« Comment est-ce qu’on commence une inondation? »

The lawyer said "I’m here because my house burned down and everything I owned was destroyed by the fire. The insurance company paid for everything."
"Wow! What a coincidence!" said the engineer. "I’m here because my house and all my belongings were destroyed by a flood and my insurance company also paid for everything."
The lawyer looked somewhat confused.
